Introduction:

This concentration is for students who wish to combine engineering skills with scientific thinking and scientific skills.  It can lead to a career in industry and is also a background for pursuing graduate education in physics, engineering, medical physics, or law.

Declaring this Concentration:

  • You must declare this concentration within the Department of Physics .

Program Requirements:

  • Physics 15200 must be repeated with a grade of C- or below
  • Student Responsibilities:  You are responsible for satisfying the graduation requirements specified for your selected program.  Thus, it is essential that you develop a thorough understanding of the required courses, academic policies, and procedures governing your academic career.  All requests for exceptions to specific requirements must be made in writing and may be granted only by written approval from the appropriate chair or dean.
  • Students choosing this concentration must specify either Electrical Engineering (EE) or Mechanical Engineering (ME) or Civil Engineering (CE) concentration.
