PHIL 26000 - Philosophy and Law A discussion of philosophical issues in the law. Topics will include a critical examination of such basic concepts in law as property, civil liberty, punishment, right, contract, crime, and responsibility; and a survey of some main philosophical theories about the nature and justification of legal systems. Readings will be drawn from both law and philosophy.
