Fine Arts Minor

A Fine Arts Minor is designed for IPFW students outside of Department of Fine Arts programs. IPFW students can earn a minor in art by completing 15 credit hours within the Department of Fine Arts while maintaining a 2.0 GPA within the classes.  Bold print classes are mandatory.

Select three additional classes within the Fine Arts program (check with the Department of Fine Arts for qualifying classes). At least two of the additional classes must be at 200 level or above. Any two FINA Art History classes (excluding FINAH101 and FINA A170) can be used as part of the three additional classes
 
Resident Requirements  Completion of as least 6 resident credits at the 200 level or above is required for the minor.

 

Required Classes Credits: 6


  • Additional fine arts credits: 9
  • Select three additional classes within the fine arts program.
    • At least two classes must be at the 200 level or above.
    • Two FINA art history classes can be used as part of the additional classes.

Total Credits: 15
