ENG L202 - Literary Interpretation Close analysis of representative texts (poetry, drama, fiction) designed to develop art of lively, responsible reading through class discussion and writing of papers, including a documented research paper. Attention to literary design of critical method. May be repeated once for credit by special arrangement with Department of English and Linguistics.
Preparation for Course P: ENGW131, W135, or W140 with a grade of C or better.
Cr. 3. Session Indicators (fall, spring) Notes Approved by Arts and Sciences for use in fulfilling the writing requirement. Recommended prior to taking upper-level courses. If you are required by placement examination to take ENG R150, it is recommended that you complete that requirement before enrolling in any other English course.
